This project uses pultruded structural Handrails, I-Beams, Channels, and Supergrate Molded Grating. The lightweight nature of the FRP structure allows for easy installation with minimal equipment and labor. In addition, due to the 100 percent humidity environment of the enzyme manufacturing plant (for making cheeses), FRP’s corrosion resistance means a longer product life and less maintenance when compared with steel. Instead of repainting a steel structure every 18 months, the FRP is virtually maintenance-free.
