Manufacturing Technician 

Composite Advantage is currently seeking MULTIPLE Manufacturing Technicians to work in our Dayton, OH manufacturing facility. These are direct hire positions and are full-time, 40 hours/week, first shift, Monday - Friday.

Starting pay: $10.00 - $12.00/hour, commensurate with experience, with a performance evaluation and the opportunity for a pay increase after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities for the ideal candidate will include:

• Hand lay-up molding using fiberglass materials
• Mixing resins and catalysts
• Finishing of parts using power hand tools, such as angle grinders, circular and mitre saws, palm and floor sanders, and hand drills
• Paint application
• Read and complete a work order with each part
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment
• Reliable attendance. Must be at work every day and on time
• Will be required to wear steel toe shoes

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work around fiberglass and fumes from resins and paints
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to read a tape measure and scale
• Must be able to follow written and verbal manufacturing instructions
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Ability to stoop, bend, lift, twist on a regular basis; ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
