Overview: New York City Transit needed to provide an underground air chamber in a continuously wet area of Grand Center Terminal. The finished structure was unable to be pre-fabricated; therefore, Pultex FRP structurals were used. Not only does this solution eliminate future corrosion problems, but it also reduces the installation weight of the structure. Fabricated by Structural Fiberglass, Inc., this was one of our more unusual installation projects.
