TuffSpan™ Fiberglass Form Deck
Composite form deck
TuffSpan fiberglass deck provides structural support of concrete slabs during building erection. Unlike wood forms, TuffSpan deck does not need to be removed and provides corrosion protection as a permanent form for the underside of slabs, especially in facilities with chemical processes. Composite concrete form deck doesn't rust or flake, keeping workers and equipment below the deck safe from the threat of falling material that can occur when steel form deck or exposed concrete deteriorate.
With a high content of glass fiber reinforcements, TuffSpan fiberglass deck has the strength and stiffness needed for structural concrete and reliably supports heavy, wet concrete during building erection. The reinforcements are embedded within a vinyl ester resin system that provides enhanced strength retention at high temperatures in addition to outstanding corrosion resistance. The fire retardant material has a Class I flame spread rating of 25 or less per ASTM E84 testing.
TuffSpan Fiberglass Form Deck Features:
- Corrosion-Resistant
- Fire-Retardant
- High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
