Wastewater Sludge Flights Made of FRP
Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) sludge flights are specialized components used in wastewater treatment processes. They offer several advantages over traditional materials, making them a popular choice in modern applications.
CCG’s composite sludge flights represent a modern solution in wastewater treatment, contributing to more efficient and durable components for managing sludge. The benefits of using composites include best-in-class mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

Advantages of Fiberglass or FRP Sludge Flights
CCG flights offer several features in various applications, particularly in wastewater treatment and industrial processes. Here are the key advantages:
Corrosion Resistance
One of the primary advantages of FRP sludge flights is their exceptional resistance to corrosion from chemicals commonly found in sludge. This allows them to last longer compared to traditional materials like steel.
Lightweight and Strength
The lightweight nature of FRP makes installation easier and less labor-intensive. At the same time, it maintains a high level of durability, standing up well to the demanding conditions often found in sludge applications.
Maintenance and Cost Savings
With reduced maintenance needs due to the material's durability, operations can save significantly over time. The longevity of FRP components means fewer replacements, which translates to lower life-cycle costs.
Versatility and Customization
FRP can be easily molded into various shapes and sizes. This adaptability allows for unique designs that meet specific operational needs without sacrificing performance.
These advantages often make fiberglass or FRP sludge flights a preferable choice in applications where performance, longevity, and cost-effectiveness are key considerations.
