The San Francisco Marina was undergoing extensive renovation and repair in preparation for hosting the 2013 America’s Cup sailboat race. CCG supplied 12-inch diameter StormStrong fender piles to a local company, who drove the piles at the site. A total of 190 StormStrong piles were installed at the completion of the project. The FRP piles were chosen for their longevity, energy absorption capabilities and aesthetic attributes.
