The Creative Composites Group designs FRP cover systems. Our process can include custom engineering, fabricating, and installing fiberglass tank covers. Our covers are custom and specialize in Industrial and Municipal industries. They are designed specific to the environment they will encounter such as snow loads, high heat, wind, seismic activity, and of course heavy corrosion. We custom engineer our fiberglass tank covers for any geometry or the shape of a tank.
Our team can design your cover to be airtight/watertight to keep rainwater and snowmelt out. Additionally, we can design covers to keep fugitive emissions from escaping the process out into the atmosphere. We can design our covers to withstand the loads imposed due to the process being under positive pressure or vacuum.
Our FRP covers suit odor control applications. Likewise, they suit HVLC applications where the equipment ties into an external scrubber system via ductwork that is connecting to the FRP cover. These covers are great for protecting your process from extreme ambient temperatures. We can design them with foam or balsa core in the structural layer providing excellent insulating characteristics.
Our FRP cover systems are capable of unsupported free spans on WWTP clarifiers more than 80’ Ø. The FRP cover systems are highly corrosion-resistant, high strength and weigh 1/5th the weight of an equivalent steel cover. The lifecycle cost of our fiberglass covers is low due to the maintenance-free design. You do not need to paint our fiberglass covers. Our covers are completed with a final coat that can be pigmented to customer specifications which eliminate the need for painting. Unlike other materials of construction, such as steel, you do not need regular maintenance.
