Donation of Fiberglass Poles to Help Save Trees

Posted by Composite Advantage on Mar 14, 2012

Creative Pultrusions, Inc. (CP) donated fiberglass round tubes to the PA Game Commission in August of 2011.  The Game Commission used these as stakes to protect fruit-producing trees from deer browsing.

Jon Zuck of the game commission sent photos to show CPI how our donation has saved trees. He stated, “I wanted to pass on photos I took of fruit trees my Food and Cover Crews recently fenced and staked using the stock Creative Pultrusions donated to the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The most recent donation provides us a means to help protect over 400 fruit trees, trees that otherwise would probably be browsed off by deer if left unprotected. We really appreciate your company’s generosity and willingness to work with the Pennsylvania Game Commission.”

Established in 1973, Creative Pultrusions is located in Alum Bank, Pennsylvania, and is a subsidiary of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC, an international group with leading positions in the design, manufacture and supply of infrastructure products and galvanizing services to global markets.
