Next week, June 7-11, Composite Advantage will be participating in the International Bridge Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. We'll be exhibiting as part of the American Composite Manufacturers Association (ACMA) booth. Within ACMA, the Transportation Structures Council works to promote bridge and highway products manufactured with FRP composites. We'll exhibit alongside other Council member companies, promoting bridge decks, rebar and strengthening systems made with FRP.

Are you attending the conference? If so, you have two chances to stop by and say hello. We'll be at the exhibit hall Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 8-10, at booth 403. Thursday, I'll be one of the presenters at a workshop called Retrofitting and Service Life Extension of Bridge Structures Using FRP Composites. I'll be discussing lightweight cantilever sidewalks, which can be added to existing vehicle bridges to provide safe paths for pedestrians and cyclists. Click above to learn more about the other presenters and topics, which include various aspects of FRP in infrastructure.

So, whether you visit booth 403 or attend our workshop (or both!) we hope to see you next week in Pittsburgh!
