Project: Pickle Packing Plant; Tank Access Platform
Overview paragraph: The paper machines at this paper mill emit enormous amounts of heat, making the existing steel access platforms too hot to handle with bare hands. The platforms were replaced with pultruded FRP structural angles, channels, handrails and Supergrate grating. The new access platforms are lightweight and portable and can be easily moved from one paper machine to another. The platforms are located in a working environment with 100 percent humidity, making the pultruded FRP material the perfect solution for corrosion resistance.
